So any recommendations for a cheap set of wheels for rain tires?

My primary set of wheels are CCW 8.5x18 and 10x18 but think for rain tires I could get by with some 17's but polling others, what do you have or recommend?

PMASON, if you do not care about the style, the 928 flat dish style wheel is usually much cheaper than the 968 style wheels. They are certainly strong enough for racing on the 968 and not a lot heavier either. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

Keep hunting eBay. I bought a set of 993 Cup (Cup II) 17" 7&9 wheels with the 50 & 55 offsets, brand new continental z rated tires. $600



I've got longer studs and run a small spacer up front, fitment was no problem even with the M030 brake calipers.

Hi PMason - re those wheels - you need to get the seller to provide the ET from the inside of the wheel. A front ET of 52 did fit over my M030 brakes running a small 4mm spacer. I run 16x8.5 wheels with a 55ET both front and back. Custom made per ITR rules. I could have gone 17 and wish I had but got the wheels in a group buy.
