engine or motr blocks
#1

A few weeks ago, there was an article regarding the motor blocks with photos of the old torn ones and the new ones in the photo. It was a huge difference. The author stated his 968 had approx. 100,000 miles on it. As mine is also aproching the 90,000 mile mark I thought i would replace mine also. But i cannot find the part number for the motor blocks nor can i find the article.

Anybody know the amser to my questions. Oh by the way mine is a 1995 coupe if it makes any difference for the part number.

If you're looking for the motor mounts:

PET 109-00

Partnr.: 951 375 042 04 (or -07 for a tip)

thanks for the info and part number. I went to pelican parts and they have the geniune part from Porsche at $211 each and a generic part from a company called Corteco for $197 each. A litttle silly to save $4 but for those wanting to save weight the generic is 1/2 pound lighter.

Ah, OK.

Just checked and I paid $168.54 each before the january 1 price increase.

Still, they offer the lowest price around, apparently.
