Question;
I picked up a very nice 91 S2 but I also have a 968 head & top end assy. so of course the brain damage begins...lol
Anyone 'converted' a S2 to a 968; just wondered how much aggravation I was headed into in the event someone had wandered down this road before. Did some R-list searches but just kept coming up with complete engine swaps. I didn't want to do that since this one only has 18k on a fresh block rebuild....
Obviously the head, fuel rail, intake manifold & attaching bits, air meter, DME, etc. & I'm guessing a fair bit of harness work at minimum....
I know it would be easier to install one of my 951 engines but I'm trying to avoid 'Turbo Heroin Syndrome' for daily driver use...lol
Anyhooooo; feel free to critique....
Thanx, Randall
BTW; if there is posting of substance on this already please send me there...haven't found any yet...RLJ

Would it be worth all that work for like 28 HP ? Still a 5 speed as well..... I would just be happy with a chip and airbox mod on the S2.

I think it would be easier to swap entire harnesses.
