@ink : whaddayamean Every Saturn ?! Although I would not drive one, the Saturn Sky is , IMO , a very nice looking car perfectly suitable for any lady to drive ...as much of a chick car as the Boxster, better looking ( again IMO ) and at a fraction of tne Boxter's cost. The turbo version of tne Sky also puts out some respectable performance numbers.

It is the same as the pontiac version and does nothing for me. I like the 968 better - You think it is hard to get parts for our 20 year old cars, wait for that. I had a friend who sold his Chevy SSR due to low production numbers and unavailability of parts already...the roof will be the Achilles heel of that ride and I remember when they came out they were charging 10K over sticker.

The diesel versions of various GM cars in the 70s. Not only were these cars disastrous for their buyers, they did long-term damage to the country. If GM had built those engines correctly, diesels may have caught on in this country as they have in much of the rest of the world, saving millions of gallons of precious fuel, which may (although there's no guarantee of that) have kept gas prices in check. At the very least, it would have allowed more people to keep more of their money (by spending less on gas), which may have reduced the severity of the recession to some measurable degree.

Diesel could have been good - instead the use it to screw eveyone over - the truck I was looking at last year at Dodge the diesel was an 8K option!

Now with the diesel emissions fluid, you have to add it every two fill-ups or the governor on the truck won't let the car go past 5mph.



Brought to you buy the same asshats who brought us ethanol. I hate my government.

I still see a Chevette once in a while. Every time I see one, it brings back memories from a LONG time ago! I met my wife Darlene in Winnipeg, where she was visiting an uncle & aunt for Christmas (she lived in Langley, BC). At some point she mentioned that "the Vette is at the transmission shop". I thought: "Wow! Her dad gave her a Corvette to drive to school!". She was in grade 12 at the time. A few months later I fly to Vancouver for Spring Break and when we got out to the parking lot, was I ever surprised to see a CHEVETTE rather than a CORVETTE! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/icon_lol1.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
