Couldn't find a DIY on this, and a couple people had different ideas (go to an upholsterer, just use a hole punch, et al), but I was hoping someone had a few pics of their install and could post a quick DIY on it? Just wanna be sure I don't F things up.



Do I have all the hardware I need...?

hmmm - not sure - i just go to my local upholstery shop and pay them the 5 bucks each to install them

The Tenax connectors are the easier ones, just make sure you get them in the exact spot. The guy I used for my top didn't have a punch large enough to create the hole for them, so he used his largest then opened it some more with scissors. The part that you will need a tool for is the snaps them selves, if you don't have the tool to install the snaps then you will need to buy one or have a shop do it.

There are 2 snaps along the top body side of the trunk and 2 strips of velcro that secure the boot to trunk interior behind the seat backs. There are also 2 more snaps that attach near the seatbelt tops. They are at the end of 2 straps that are made from the same material as the boot cover.
