Body Trim
#1

On any of the 968s I have looked at the black trim/gasket/seal for the body panels like the bumpers and sideskirts, the balck trim has shrunk up and is now too short or is pulled out at the corners.

What is the fix for this?

Can you get the parts?

Do you need to remove all the affected panels and put new trim in, etc.

it's an easy and inexpensive fix - you replace them - call sunset imports

you do need to pull the "affected" panels, but they are only the bumper covers and rocker panels, which all easily unbolt/unclip - you can do the entire job in a half day

total expense is around 100 bucks

Cool, thanks Flash

That is kind of what I thought but I wonder why so many have not fixed it.

it probably scares people - it seems like a big job, until you've done it once - there are a couple of tricks that can make it a lot easier - i did a write up on the bumper cover removal, but i can't remember where i posted it
