Depends on you preferences.

For me there are several ultimate stock versions.

1. Ultimate long distance car

968 with all the factory options as : A/C, power seats, enhanced audio, full leather, .... etc.

2. Ultimate track & race car

968 CS with M030

3. Ultimate cruise car

968 Cabrio with full options and (depending on individual taste) tiptronic

4. Ultimate collectors car

968 Turbo S or as a further step up the 968 Turbo RS

1Kompas, define ultimate.

In regards to performance, an M030 Coupe with LSD would be best performing overall. Down the 1/4 i'd rather have a none m030 car (but then again, these cars arnt 1/4 cars to begin with).
