After that threatening email, which has since been withdrawn, i thought i should get with the program and start checking this site out more often. I have comments and questions i will post elsewhere.
I have a 95 Cabriolet 968 tiptronic, Midnight Blue Metallic w/ blue top and Tan leather Interior (#265 out of 366 produced in this last year) I bought it via ebay motors in November 04 after 3 year search for this exact car and color. I added a custom rollbar (wife requirement) I wish there were some touring opportunities closer to Pacific NW, so maybe I can get together with some BC friends, too. (Hershey, PA, is a bit far to drive for us active working stiffs. plus my wife won't go that far in a convertible. I don't mind, but she does. ( It is..ah..a bit noisier and less roomy than the Audi A6 Avant we have)
I am an Architect, so I have a need to take 24x36 or 36x48 display boards to meetings many times, and this is the ONLY porsche that will allow that to happen! (Well, 3 years ago, not counting the Cayenne. Now you could probably make the cayman work with the hatch) But the 911 and Boxter will not work. I have had a 924, and 944, and the 968 is a GREAT improvement in performance.
Ok, enough intro. I love this car, and I have ashamedly obtained way too much literature and posters about the 968. My wife calls it ..the other woman...
On to the forums... Hmm...how do i add a pic from my desktop (not a url) to this?
