" Murky" here. Just joined. 1994 968 with 300k miles.

Just joined the site.  I have a 1994 968 with 300k miles. Requires more work as it ages but no rust.  Replaced head gasket and all that goes along with that twice plus many modifications to keep it going, some suggested by 944 enthusiasts.  Haven't had to replace the clutch, fuel pump, muffler, fans, MAF but just about everything else.  Currently working on the idle control valve.

FYI--the homemade bracket to reinforce the clutch master cylinder against the firwall has been in place for >10 years.

Welcome to the club.   300K miles?  Wow!  I have an old Design 1 Racing firewall brace installed on my ‘93 Cab.
