I'm looking at BBS one piece RE776 with offset 56 at the front and 777 with 65 offset at the rears. These came off an 05 996. I'm pretty sure the offsets are right. However will they fit the centre of the hub? This was a concern raised by someone on the R****** forums. I thought if any group would know I'd find them here.

Can you say...SPACERS ? You will need them as I recall.



Now that I said that...because they are BBS and not factory wheels, I could be wrong. Sorry, but I don't know for sure.

You are correct. I decided to ask Wheelenhancement.com and they resonded that all thats needed are 7.5 mm spacers. Now having said that. Check out how small 7.5 mm is on a ruler and you have to wonder if it really is going to be necesary.

I am just guessing, but it may need the spacer to all fitment of the center cap.

Yep it needs it for the fittment of the grease cap in the front. The other option is to machine the wheel itself to fit the grease cap.
