Say. Seein how the Paso Robles trip is in the air, anyone up for a dinner thing this Friday or next?
If anyone knows of a good resturant (with good parking) in the Bay Area lets just get together.
This way our washing jobs don't go to waste. (Sorry Arash)
I would also like to meet the "new guy" Dave/dep.

I do all the time.
I figured some would have free schedules for the Paso Robles trip.
I do forget that most people have jobs. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

23rd. I will be back home that weekend!
Meh have fun and do it whenever works for everyone else, but if it ends up being then, I will defly B ther. Oh yeah, restaurants... well location would be the key factor. I like emeryville, seems fairly central for all the north bay folk vs. east bay/peninsula folk. In Berkeley there's a killer sandwich place called Bongo Burger. Maybe not ideal for a crowd, and no parking at all! but y'all locals should try it out if you're driving by UCB.
Heheh I'm not actually mad about my detail job, just being sarcastic.

23rd, cool...
I can finally get my umbrella back. It's been not pouring rain terribly here in the warm sunny central coast.

I'm unfortunately not going to be available. I need to finish up a semester project for one of my classes. Finals are the week following so it is crunch time. So I most likely will see you all at the Paso run.

That is just fine.
This is just a "midterm" before the "final" paso run.
I don't expect a big turn out but who know's?

I don't care where we eat, I don't care how big the patties or boobies are, I will just be passing the time eating food, in anticipation of walking outside to look at the cars.

<img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/dry.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Yeah, I'm trying to think how that will work out.
I guess we can eat first then move the cars to the top level of the garage.

Garage?! Maybe I should bring the 944 instead. That 944 is going to be my summer mistress.

Well if I'm not mistaken the outside parking is a good walk from the resturant.
It's in a sort-of outside mall on the second floor.
Are you paranoid of parking garages? <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/blink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I hate parking garages. Maximum threat of theft, vandalism, and the parking spaces always seem to be tighter than outdoor lots. I prefer to, and often do, park far away at a curb just to avoid garages. If I must park in a lot it will be all the way at the right-hand end of a row so the only car next to me will have its passenger side towards my car. And it is less likely the passenger door will be opened and ding my car, than the driver door being opened.
Then some asshat has to come and park backwards right next to me. Ugh that always happens to me. But I won't park in the far corner of a garage, that's just asking for trouble.
Don't worry about me though I always find a suitable place to park. Plans look good here - I'm leaving tomorrow morning, hopefully I'll get to SF before lunch time, get all my cargo unloaded, maybe even start work on the 964, and make it to emeryville without being covered in dirt and sweat.

I'll try to make it -- I'm one town over, so it'll be a sad state of affairs if I can't turn out for this. Glad I checked the Local Events...
My '95 is still in the shop (RS Barn flywheel & other goodies are on the way, thanks Pete!), but the 914 needs to get some exercise this weekend.
We're parking on the roof of the garage/structure behind the theater?

Yep on the roof I think will be safe to meet.
Here is my # (707) 416-5654 Rich
Remind me of 968forums so I kinda know who is calling.
Call me if your running late or if you can't find us.
I figure the roof will be a safe place to meet up and hang for a little before we eat. If you wanna move your car after we meet up please feel free. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/cool.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
