Chicago-area 968 owners: I've been reading with envy about the planned Paso Robles "wine run" in California and wondering why we couldn't plan something here in Chicago?! Maybe instead of a wine run we do a brew and pizza run, barbecue, or ? Cruise LSD? Meet in one of the burbs? I know there are other Chicago-area 968 owners, but I don't know who you are. I've been to a couple PCA concourse events and so far I have been the only 968 owner...are there really so few of us in this area? It's going to be warming up...and hey, I changed my transmission oil, got clean injectors, new tires...I'm ready to roll. Anybody out there interested in creating an event or agreeing to meet at a PCA event? I doubt many of us will be driving to California or Savannah...what say ye? <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/mellow.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Mine is still in the shop getting ready for the racing season. There is a number of just P car owners around the group on yahoo groups meets a few times a year for C&C out in Warrenville, normal mix of 911s and 944s. But haven't seen anything go out lately. Oh, the spring PCA tech session is at Northstar this Sunday, planning on going.

I would join in, I'm located in Naperville. I haven't been going to to many events, usually one car show a year, last year it was was the convention. By the way a neighbor stoped by yesterday with a 83 944, as if just out of the showroom.
