Anyone catch the 968 on Top Gear?
#1

The latest episode features J.Clarkson's first time around the Nürburgring (Which is BS) Anyway he took a Jag Deisel out for his first ride (NO IDEA WHY!) Anyway halfway through the segment there is a quick clip of a Red 968 heading out to the ring. It had supercup wheels and a red wing. Thought it was pretty cool to see. Anyone here?

It was a UK 968. Since Top Gear is running a year behind here there was discussion of this on the UK forums last year.

I enjoyed the episode just to see Clarkson get beat by a girl.

And as a bit of trivia, if any of you have seen Fifth Gear on Speed those guys were on Top Gear until they had a riff with Clarkson and moved to channel 5.

I saw it. It was hoping to see it on the track. In general, I like the show although they do some whacky things, e.g. racing a skate boarder down a hill. Oh those crazy Brits. The races they had with the Ferrari and Aston Martin were interesting and only could be done in Europe. I also liked 5th Gear but have been missing there shows.

I DVR Top Gear and 5th Gear. They are both excellent auto shows the american auto shows fail in comparison to the two. I am more of a Euro car buff rather then the american cars. I like the fact that they focus on the euro cars and more importantly the super cars that I dream to afford some day. I like the wacky/funny segments. The 924/944/928 segment a few weeks back was great!
