Anyone have Excellence: 968 Market Update
#1

My insurance company wants to do some background investigation into the 968, and more about proper insurance. They deemed blue book as a lacking source since only a hair more than 2000 coupes entered the country. If anyone has this edition and would like to sell it, or could scan it and email it to me that would be great. wtcampin at uncg.edu . Also any other sources into 968 values would be beneficial.

Thanks

Wes

I'm sure someone will be able to help with that issue.

One thing you can do is send your broker a link to a nationwide 968 autotrader search. That worked for my loan officer.

Yeah, he is doing that. They were just valuing the car less than I anticipated, and while I am sure I value it higher than anyone else , I need it insured to the point that if totaled, I could purchase a reasonable replacement (miles, color, options, year, etc).

Thanks,

Wes

You might try http://www.excellence-mag.com/back_issues.html and see if they have a back issue available for sale.

A quick search of the Forums found this info in a March 17th post:

The April issue of Excellence Magazine has the 924,944,968 Market Report every year. the most recent issue, April 2006, has the following values for a 1995 968 Coupe: Excellent - $19,438; Good - $14,520; Poor - $16,606. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.
