US Top Gear not being renewed on Discovery...
#1

You may have already heard but our dumb down version of Top Gear is getting the Discovery boot! I know many of you watch this series. Other forums like Rennlist have a campaign effort using the link below. Personally I have every show this season recorded on the DVR. Even though it is a partial version I still get my Euro Car fix with this program. I will miss it dearly!

I urge all you guys to go here:

and voice your displeasure with The Discovery Channel's decision not to renew "Top Gear"

Please take the 2 minutes & let them know how you feel. Thanks!

Thank you for contacting Discovery Channel. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns with us regarding “Top Gear.” Your comments will be forwarded to our program management and executives

and will be taken into consideration.

The "Top Gear" show was not "taken off the air" but rather ran its pattern. It is being revamped for a U.S. audience and will return later this year. Look for it in December.

i don't know how many of you have heard of the speed channel but Top gear would be a great fit, and a big help, to their hum drum line up. Should they not reappear on Discovery.

FinalGear.com has all of the Top Gear episodes available via BitTorrent. Anyone that still enjoys watching it as much as I do only has to wait until later Sunday night or Monday to download it. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
