Where should I connect the cable to the windshield antenna from the head unit? I suspect it's over/behind the glove box but would like some guidance before I pull anything apart. Thanks.

given it's a wire in the windscreen, is there an amp?

The amp is to the right side of the glove box mounted on the side of the car. To really work with it, it's easiest to pull the glovebox. But the wire for the antenna to plug into your radio should be behind your radio. If I recall the amp side doesn't have a normal plug type.

You should have and RCA lead with a little black power wire attached right at the back of you head unit. I believe it goes up behind the golve box and through the firewall ot a connector right by the battery
