i'm not sure i understnd the problem - what are you trying to do? is the connector part of the car's harness? where did it connect before? if it works fine on the new radio, what exactly is the issue?

Here we go....... I,m trying to fit a new aftermarket radio, the problem is that this pink plug doesnt fit into the Sony Radio, and i cant find any adaptor for this, to normal Din like the black one tha is also showing, the pink plug is for speakers or amp.

So any of you guys had this problem?

Thanx for your patience....

OK, good picture. Looking at the wiring diagram it looks like you have option M490, the hi-fi stereo system. here is the breakdown:

These three wires go directly to the rear speakers.

Black / White = Rear Left +

Black / Green = Rear Right +

Brown = Rear ground -

These wires go into the amplifier

Red = Front Right

Black = Front Left

Green / Red and the Yellow = S ( sub woofer maybe???)

(where is the ground for the front???)

BIG CAUTION: As you can see there is some missing information. The wiring diagram looks like a bowl of spaghetti with lots of wires going into the speakers and amps. It is hard to make heads or tails of it and I am very good a reading wiring diagrams!

If I were you, I would string new wires to the speakers and leave the factory harness out of it, but that is just me.

Here is the wiring diagram:

I don't think so. As I said before, some connections go straight to the speakers and some go into the amplifier. This is a very complicated factory setup. I would run new wires to to all the speakers and if you want an amp, get a new, modern on like from Alpine or Blaupunkt.

You are going to need some professional help with this one if you are unsure about re-wiring the whole system. Take the wiring diagram with you that I posted above.

Can you verify that you have option M490, It should be listed on the sticker under the carpet in the trunk.

this is really not something to play around with unless you know what you are doing - no, you cannot "amp an amp" unless the amp is specifically set up for it

any stereo shop will do this for you and it will only be about 100 bucks

You can't just tie into the factory harness directly. You will need the help of a knowledgable stereo installer that can rewire the car. Otherwise, there is a very real possibility that you will smoke your harness, factory amp and your new Sony.
