Airbox mods
#41

So if I read this correctly, there will be individual .pdf copies of future magazine issues available for online sale?

You might want to double-check how they're made before they go up. The first .pdf's of the chip article were apparently done from scans of the magazine itself, rather than from the layout files. Couldn't be read.

i doubt it was a scan, and rather a low res pdf page file, or jpg conversions, but i'll take a look if somebody wants to send me the file they got

it should have been page files from the layout - we send the printer a pdf file, and what was supposed to happen was those extract pages were supposed to be sent

to answer your question though, yes, individual copies will be sold online - they will be high res format - i'm trying to satisfy everyone, including those who don't want to commit to a subscription

I am back home now and went to the 9magazine website to purchase the article.

I could not find a way to purchase the article, a single issue of 9 magazine or the pdf format subscription listed on homepage.

Has anyone else been able to purchase the article online?

Is the article in the "Vol. 4 No. 1 Special Collectors Editor 3rd Anniversary Issue"?

Have any subscribers received the printed version?

Has anyone been able to buy the issue in a retail store?

I'm a subscriber that hasn't received this issue - or, apparently, the previous one. So, there are still things that need to be worked out.

The 9 Magazine website has been updated to include the cover and index of "Vol 4, No 2". The cover has the Flashmobile pictured with a couple of models and a headline "HOW MUCH DOES YOUR INTAKE SUCK? $40 BUCKS = 10 EXTRA PONIES".

The index page lists three 968 articles;

"THE 968 PORSCHE COULD HAVE BUILT The 968 is a great car, but after Bob "Flash" Larson get done with it, its a better car, a car Porsche could have built from the start!"

"INTERIOR UPGRADES-968 Bring the interior of your 968 upto date! We move things around and swap items to make the 968 more friendly!"

and

"968 Intake Mod".

Although I still can not figure out how to buy it.

working on getting updates done now - i'd send those subscribers the issue myself, but my server won't handle a file that big - it's 20mb in full resolution form - we bumped it up to get clearer pics and such for you guys - i'm working on getting it hosted so we can send you a link of where to download it - almost got that done - only a matter of hours now

Just went to 968 Engineering for the oval mesh mouth grill, airbox retention system and air box trim rings. Also subscribed to 9 magazine!

Can't wait to get the airbox mod done. I have been reading about this waiting for it to become real. Any dyno numbers?

Keep up the great work!

ok - you can oder the single pdf issue now - they haven't finished everything on the site, but at least that is up and running

ordering will generate an email - that email will then generate a link, a user name, and a password, so that you can go to download the file - it is very large (16mb or so), so be patient - we did this for reasons of resolution - any smaller and the colors and such were not right, and we felt that would be doing you a disservice

very sorry for the delays

Sorry to be a pain, but I just ordered the pdf of the current issue, and I think I made a mistake by not selecting the "no shipping required" button. I assume this means the magazine will be mailed to me, because my confirmation email did not include a link. That's no problem; I can wait, but I just wanted to make sure my interpretation is correct. Thanks.

nope - the only thing up there at the moment is the pdf version, so there is no shipping - if that is not what you want, please let me know

hard copy orders will start happening next week
