I have an Airbag warning lamp, on steadily. I also, have a Durametric, so I'm going to give it a try and see if it reveals any codes.I am hoping a simple reset is all I need. I think it is the passenger side, but I don't recall why I think this...may have been a long time ago when I first looked into this.
If I need to remove the electronic unit for the airbag, (or check for bad connections) which I believe is under the footwell board on the passenger. is there any danger of deploying the bag? This may sound like a dumb question, but I worked on F-4E's in the AF, and there are something like 12 ways to eject yourself from one of them. I have learned prudence when near dangerous stuff.
TIA

Bag light is the bane of my 968 ownership. Mechanic triggered it by turning ignition with battery out... Had a friend come by with a Durametric but didn't work. Can't find a Hammer anywhere. Maybe its a bad airbag module. Second time I will have replaced that. :whine:

Thanks for that! Maybe a fix is possible. But I'd still need to reset the fault with dura metric or equivalent right?
So... How do I check the clock spring?
