I apologize up front for my ignorance on suspension. I’ve been trying to educate myself on this but terminology often throws me and i find myself not fully understanding what I need.
The tail on the 68 has become a bit mushy. noticeable squatting on launch and even between hard shifting.
Q- Assuming my front springs and struts are in good order. Does it make sense to change out the rears with Koni adjs and leave the front as is or will this create an unstable ride. I know springs would help but must I replace them at the same time?
I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

Having more damping in the rear than the front will, in general, promote oversteer. Depending on how bad your fronts are, how soft you set the new rear konis, and other suspension variables you have, it might be a small or big issue.
If the fronts really are good, then I think you can get away with new koni rears, set maybe a bit on the light side.

damping is the compression force right? If so, then I understand how that makes sense.
The thing about suspension is you cant just leave it to your mechanic. Theres no right set up once you venture away from factory settings. Looking at how many set ups some have been through and still not happy, leaves me perplexed.

yes I have them. Should have them installed by Monday. Looking to sell her soon so and I want the ride to feel a bit tighter.
