Did the Free get ya?

I know that this is not an original Idea but it is something we have talked about at the old forum before. I will get these printed this week, it will help spread the word when you are out and about. I know when I was in So.Cal I used to see cars often. Now you can keep these in the glove box and when you see a 968 stick the card in the window. They will be free to all members!!! When they come in I will let you guys know how to get a set of your own. I plan on handing out 25 cards at a time, they will be available if you run out.

Let me know what you think! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/cool.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Very handsome. I wish that in my life I'd come across more than two parked 968's! (Seriously: they're rare up here).

It should be "...join my friends and me", however. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Good idea. Only problem is for me is that I think I have the only 968 in Alabama. But, we can really get them out in Hershey in June! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

nice promo - may be that'll work instead of my hand written post it notes I left on four 968s already -

get this - I have one cab just a few houses down the street from me, the guy is very polite, etc, but said he has no time nor interest to take part in any forums, clubs, meets, etc. Then, less than five minutes away another cab on which I left a note, and my phone just to touch base, too, without any success. Then there is a red coupe which I see drive by the house a couple of times a week toward the freeway, so it must be from somewhere close by but failed to get out in time or wait around to flag it down, and then one more coupe I see occasionally parked at a neighbordhood store, on which I also left a note and.. nothing .

So, you'd never know the 968 is as rare as it is in this area, but folks are either apathetic or just who knows what. sigh...

I need some cards - maybe I'll tie a rock to them and throw it at the cars when I see them <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/dry.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

we had already done that for the other site - dave knocked some out at my suggestion - they have been helpful - when we got together this last weekend, we discussed making up new ones for this forum

Thanks guys... Etnier you have to excuse the grammar English is my second language. I am still searching for my first!

I know in some parts of the country the 968's are more rare then in other parts. However when the time comes you will have these in your glove box. In So.Cal I saw one on the street or parked at least once a month. If everyone gets to pass at least one out this year they are a success. The cost is fairly inexpensive to print and I have fun doing these types of things.

Very cool idea, Eric. Thank you. I'll be pleased to keep a few in my glove box, just in case.

I've been surprised by how many 968's I've run across in Denver and in Colorado Springs. I usually try to leave a note about PCA regional club, but this would be more car specific and a great idea.

I received my cards. They look great. I'm putting this lifetime supply in my glove box, ready for use.
