968 Event in Bucks County PA
#41

Jay, I just realized there is no fax number - so, let me at least let you know the meal choices - one veal and eggplant, one shrimp and crab sorrento, along with one of each salad. I forgot to leave the form with Pete, but I'm guessing that I'll be there again sometime this week.

I'm really looking forward to this event. What kind of numbers are we looking at?

Looks like we are at about 25 cars...still waiting for a coupe of stray registrations to come in...

If anyone wants to join in I can fit about 5 more cars into my plans, but I need to have your info ASAP.

We are really getting excited about this event and watching the plans fall into place...all we need is great weather and this will be a success!

I will be leaving for this on Wednesday about noon on the 17th of May. Plan to cross into the US at Calais, Maine that day or early on the 18th. About 7-8 hours (I think) from Halifax to Calais. Will then drive to wherever seems like a good place to stop on the 18th (maybe around New York or thereabouts, not sure how long to drive from Calais to NY) and be in Newtown, PA about noonish on the 19th. Is anyone on this path? I likely will stick to the interstate as I am not familiar with the roads. If anyone is on my trajectory and wants to hook up for the remainder of the drive from that point on let me know at kim.strong@ns.sympatico.ca. An 1800 km drive is a bit of a drag if you can't stop for a coffee and chat. Driving with people familiar with the route can't hurt either

See you there otherwise.

The adventure begins tomorrow morning at 8 am. If you see a blue cab on the road with a Nova Scotia license plate NTABXTR give me a beep!.
