#1

Anyone in Ala, Ga, SC, Tenn, or ETC interested in planning a weekend get together to show off our cars and talk Porsche? Atlanta area might be a good meeting place for a fun weekend.

Hey 968Gene,

Maybe you could get us discounts on rooms and passes to the Parade. Great idea!

It is a bit later in the year, but Hurricane Region PCA has a great Oktoberfest every September in Cary, NC. This year on the 27th.

100+ cars (including 2-3 968s!), beautiful lakeside location, great roads just south of the event. We invite the Mercedes and BMW clubs to participate - and as a result a 300 SL Gullwing seems to always win best of show.

A southern event sounds like a good idea

I'd pick Atlanta because it's so far away from me. But I'd be up for alternate choices

I'd be all about it, especially since it'd be my first event.... but I don't move to GA until mid-July... I hope all works out that I can make it! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I'd be interested in "all of the above". The Peachstate PCA has several events per year that we could come to, also. Let's keep talking and planing. Football might conflict with the Fall of the year.
