the date of the ortega highway / bbq event has been changed to saturday august 25th



this was to accommodate a few people that could not make the 18th (who knew the 18th would be a big day for so many people?) - it now looks like we will have an excellent turnout



on the subject of the starting point, the crystal cove event has moved to a new location not far from here - any of you who went to that event know how phenominal it was - i am going to check it out this weekend for comparison



if it compares to the old crystal cove event, i am planning on attending this first, meeting up there with anybody who wants to, and then coming here at 9:00 am for the driver meeting with everyone (of course there will be the traditional coffee and donuts here)



from here we will depart on our drive - i have mapped out the route and will be checking it out next week



we will then return here a bit after noon for our bbq

i will be sending out an email next week after i have checked everything out - it will include all pertinent and necessary information



this is going to be a lot of fun - i have been looking forward to it for a long time - see you here

hmmm - maybe i need to rethink this - both you and ron have issues with the 25th - that makes it a wash with confirmed people for each of the 2 days



i'm going to call a few of the unconfirmed people today and try to figure this out
