968 engine
#1

I just got engaged and the plan is to "rebuild" my home to fit the new family. Thus, I'm getting rid of my non-essentials and that includes a spare 968 engine.

The engine is from a '94 with 84K miles on it. It appears to be in good shape but I do not know the history of the engine. I would not run it without changing the usual (belts, rollers, water pump, etc). I got the engine on ebay from the same person that I bought my original '95 engine (67K miles). The first engine has been running great, so I did not hesitate to buy the second. If you are interested, email me at ec200rider@yahoo.com and we can type turkey.

This is basically the long block (hope I'm using that term correctly). It does not include wiring harness, brain, or associated items (alternator, AC, aux oil cooler, exhaust headers). The engine will include the air intake header but no throttle. The fuel rail is not included.

I will ship the engine at your cost but would rather sell it locally (Charles, are you paying attention!!!!).

Just to make sure I went ahead and ordered my RS Barn header and stage II chip last week <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

The bad news is that she is getting close to 2,000 ft2 of living space added to my home. The good news is that I'm getting a new work garage out of the deal!

That is great, I hope the new garage is tall enough to someday add a lift to work on your 968 without crawling around on the floor, bob Blackwell.

I currently have a mid-rise scissors lift, the new work area will have an asymmetical two post as well as a sink, toilet?, beer frig, and TV. Afterall, I'm going to need some place to escape from three women (Fran has two girls).
