Folks:

I have a 95 968 cab with the regular seats (ie. not sport seats). I am looking to redo my seats this fall  as the existing leather is beyond repair. According to some sources, the 95 seats are not the same as earlier 968 models. Others do not make the distinction and maintain that all 968s had the same seats and therefore all upholstery kits for 968 from 92 to 95 will fit. Can someone clarify this for me please. Thanks.

95s had the same seats as the 911. Different seats from earlier 968s I believe.

92 until 94.5 have 944 style seats . late 94 and 95 have 911 style seats .

lol - actually all 968s came with 911 seats.

 

late ones had 993 seats, as opposed to earlier ones which had 964 seats

Thanks to all those that replied. It appears the '95 seats are different. It is unfortunate that most of  the re-upholstery kit companies do not have make that distinction.

'95 Cabs were all produced in '94 and re-badged as '95...code 718.
