94 MO30 Wheels???
#1

Hello:

As you may or may not know, I purchased Eric's MO30 968. I don't intend to mess with it, however, I am shopping for replacement Wheel Rims as I have always put the originals from all the PCars I have in storage to prevent any damage.

In any event, I am asking for some feedback on what rims to get...I kind of like the following:

1. New Boxster s Rims 2005

2. Kinesis Rims (I belive Eric had these on his 968S project car) Where do I find them.

I appreciate your input.

Regards, Jeff

I believe Eric had the speed lines. The Kinesis wheels are very nice too. Here is a link to the RH version of the factory Porsche Speedlines. I would definately go with one of these over any boxster wheels.

JRH is right I did have a rare version of the kinesis wheel. They do pop up on ebay from time to time. These wheels look amazing on the 968 IMHO. However they are a bitch to clean, the polished lip and fastners are a chore.

RH/ OEM Speedline version has rounder edges around the spokes. The speedlines also have the etching on the lip "Speedline for Porsche" which I think is pretty cool. These wheels go for $2000-2500 used and are rare but they do pop up from time to time.

I just installed the 997 18" 5 spokes on my 93. 8" 58mm in front, 10" 57mm in rear. I love them. If i could figure out how to post a pic I have lots. I'm very picky for proper fit &these are as close as any factory Porsche wheel

Nissan, what happened to the 17" Cup rims? If you no longer have a use for them.... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Wow! Beautiful wheels on a beautiful car, they look easy to keep clean and will allow lots of "cooling air" to get to the brake rotors too. Good job, Bob Blackwell.

Huh?

You only show your rims when you sell?
