Quick picture of the car since the wheels
#1

I am still behind on the times and don't have a digital camera yet, so I have to use the ladies. Well actually I did, but I sold it, and just haven't bought another one...dissapointing. Anyways I snapped this while I was taking pictures of some parts I am selling. Also is a picture of my bike I am trying to sell. 2005 NCR Millona 100ONE, <10 miles on it. Asking $30,000 OBO if anyone knows bikes. If someone can also find me a buyer I would be happy to share a little as I have run out of leads..Ebay, Ducati dealers, etc... Very rare, chassis number 0006. 265lbs wet, full carbon. Okay okay...enough!

Never rode the bike unfortunately. Its really just been a show piece as I am no where near that skill level to use a bike like that. I would also entertain trades for various things and some cash <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> . Really though, my pride and joy in the toy area is my car. It brings me more excitement than anything else!

Champion/Speedline RG5 18X8 and 18X10. They don't make this size anymore, so they are kind of rare. They are brand new albeit they have been sitting for some time. The fronts are dead on weight with the stock 16's with 205/55 and the rears were 2lbs heavier. So realistically not much of a difference in rotating mass. I am running 255/40/18's in the rear, so the tire is about 1/2" taller than before, but thats alright. Its what I could get at the time, and when they wear out the correct sizes will be on. Grip is so much higher, and the car actually handles as I would want it. When I put the wheels on, I pulled the sway bar out to its stiffest setting. Now it just gently rotates vs. neutral/understeer before.

Thanks guys for the compliments!

I'm sure the bike is nice and all - but look at that garage!

Love the wheels!

Flash, he directly liked to the pics from elsewhere, as opposed to uploading them to this site

You may get a visit from PETA after that post.

I don’t know much about bikes but aesthetically, thats one that I actually like. I like Buells also but hear there not made well.

I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

Ahh I have had several Buells. Great bikes, very torquey. They are fun bikes to ride, and you don't see many of them. Back when I was into them, I had a Lightning S1 if I remember correctly, and at the time it had like 127hp. That was a lot back in 1999 in bikes, especially for a V-Twin.

Flash - I use Photobucket to host all of my pictures as I suffer from the same Firefox problem that you do. It doesn't use up much bandwith, and everyone gets the opportunity to view them. Best of all its free and extrememly easy to use.

Rhudeboye - The NCR isn't what you would consider a ridable street bike. It has a full out race slipper clutch, full race suspension, Dunlop slicks, no starter (has to be started like an F1 car), but most of all it has an entirely carbon fiber body with a very well built aluminum frame that gives it ~ a 270lb wet weight with ~90hp. While not much power when compared to say a new Ducati 999R, the 120lb weight savings makes it substantially faster. For another $15k they will give you like 110hp, which makes it up there with the fasted 1000cc jap bikes. Unfortunately its nothing that I could ever use, and had intended it to be an investment. Unfortunately NCR decided to make the limited to some 25 a year bike into a 300 a year bike with options, etc...for about $20k less. This bike was $56k from Ducati of Seatle in 2005. As to PETA, they aren't my animals. Infact I have never intentionally killed an animal for sport. They are my soon to be father-in-laws, and that is his garage as well. The boat was kind of passed down, and I have no use so thus the sell.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I am trying my hardest to go to a more paragraph form! I had the option of those or HRE 545's in the same sizes, but with a slightly better rear offset. I went with these because I had not ever seen them on a 968 before, and I love the look of mesh wheels on sports cars (Ferrari 360 Stradale, M3 CSL, E30 M3, etc...). The only thing that bothers me is the offset in the rear is a tad too little, so the 255's are really close to rubbing, and do under severe loads. The upside is they sit very well and look damn good when cleaned!
