Hi everyone,
I just picked up a 2 owner, well, now 3 owner '92 Cab with 99k miles. This is my first 968. I've had a couple of 951s and loved those. I saw this car and just had to go check it out.
Its very nice, but there a few things...there are always a few things aren't there. It seems like it's got the DME relay issue and is hard starting. My black '86 951 had that issue, so I've got a couple of relays on the way. I also have an issue with the AC, the radio and trunk release, so I'm going to dig into the fuse panel today and see if there's anything obvious going on in there. Also, someone has replaced the driver's seat with one from a different car. I'd love to replace both of them with a later model pair of seats...anyone done this? What'll fit? Boxster S? 911 Sport seats? Panamera?
While I'm new to 968s, I'm a long time Porschephile. I've had a '63 356 Super 90, 4 914s, 2 951s, and my daily driver, a 2017 Macan S.
Thanks for all of your future help. I'd post a pic, but it looks like I can only link to photos elsewhere. I'm not a fan of that. Down the road, it usually kills many threads referencing pics to dead links.
