2012 Porsche 968

There is a French company that used to make a body kit that lost the glass hatch and made the 944 series cars a coupe with a flat panel in place of the hatch as well as small recessed verticle rear window. They have dropped all 944/968 stuff but still do other porsche cars.



I can't say I liked the look of their kit that much, but they made some great looking side sills for the 968.

I may be dating myself, but I'm kinda dissapointed that Ferrari did away with the huge rear wings.



When the F40 came out with its flambouyant rear wing, I absolutely loved (and continue to ogle), that particular design element.



Now, Ferrari touts their ability to create adequate down force with out a wing. As a trade-off, I am a big fan of Ferrari's rear diffusers.



All that said, I like your first design with the "dated" rear wing!!!!

in those those photos ( yellow 968 ) I like how the sides look, but the hardtop shape is not something I could live with..



struggling with my memory here, but I keep thinking it was under $ 10k to do the conversion work

the engineering and ultimately the "blueprint" design was the surprise... $4 or $5 k, IIRC, that's in addition to the work.
