I also wondered where they came up with the "...original was ugly..." Obviously they have no taste.

Speaking of dual exhaust, I came across these pics on RL just the other day.

Looking at those, my reaction surprises me. I think I'd prefer the look of a dual outlet where we currently have a single. This, though, is low on my list (in fact, not even on the list - yet).

lol - and of course i am working on the math to figure out the tubing and mufflers - i've been delaying this project until i get the rest of the projects on my list done, and until i am closer to needing a repaint of the bumper cover - i figure i have to repaint the car again in a year, so by then i should have it worked out

im not a fan of the dual exhaust. I think it looks out of place, and is out of place on a 4-cyl or any Inline cyl config.

All subjective though, diff strokes for different folks. I do dig the side exit exhaust...a lot.

there are quite a few 4 cylinders with dual exhaust, though certainly single is the predominant case, and inline engines do usually have a single setup, though many are dual pipes running the entire length of the car and exiting side by side

i like the symmetry, and i think i can pick up some power, and actually lose some weight (though likely not more than a couple of pounds) - i should be able to run smaller mufflers, and lose the resonator altogether - we'll see

yes, a repaint is near - the denver trip 2 years ago with it on the trailer backwards did a number on it, and there are a few chips now, albeit filled, but still they bug me

when i do repaint it, she is in for a whole new string of mods, this time on the body

How about the interior - such as door panels (hint, hint...)?

PLEASE stop coming up with mods. My wife is starting to notice!

lol - high on the list - the door panels are a no brainer, and i'll probably order them in the next couple of weeks - the hang up on the installation though is the time to do the dash - i want them all to match and i'm just trying not to take the car down until end of summer - trying hard to actually drive it right now
