2005 Season Video
#1

I've put together another video from this past race season. It's mostly in-car shots and many parts are from videos I've already posted here. Putting it together helps me get through the winter racing withdrawals.

Warning: it's an 8 minute, 83MB .wmv file. Sorry dialup and Mac people.

It will play best if you "Right click, save as..."

There are more videos posted in this thread:

http://www.968forums.com/index.php?showtopic=685

as well as here: Video Page.

I will get around to encoding a version w/o music. It was common request lastime I did it too. To me, it is better to hear the engine sounds for at least a full lap anyways.

Wow Thanks for posting!

There's quite a diversity in the cars that you're competing with...

Just curious, what is your rev limit set to? I looks like you were downshifting from 5th to 3rd and the tach appears to go up to 8K.

That Mission Raceway track in BC looks scary to me...too many walls and limited runoff. I've watched these videos so much that I think I could put in some hot laps at Pacific Raceway without any practice. Unfortunately for me, the Pacific NW is a long way from Fla.

My rev limit is set at 7100 but that doesn't protect you on a down shift. I don't think I'm hitting 8k on any downshifts. If I did, it was a mistake!

Nein. I wish.

Mission is scary for a first timer. It's rinky dink and totally unforgiving. Its like a street course but w/o the city.

Sometimes the NW feels like it is far from everywhere.
