Well, I am sure this subject has been broached a few times, but maybe not with the following parameters... I would like to upgrade my '94 968 coupe with 18" wheels...
Specifically, I like the look of the Porsche 7.5 & 10 x 18 BBS 2 piece spoke style wheels, and would guess I can find proper spacers to get the ET correct, front and rear...
Has anyone ever used these wheels on their 968, and if so, what size tires work well with this setup?
If not, what problems have ocurred when trying this combo? Do the rears rub due to the 10 inch width? I hate to shell out a couple of grand only to find no hope of fitting them!!! Thanks!

I take it you're referring to the Porsche Sport Classic II wheels made by BBS?

I am running the 17" version and they are heavy . Just put the 16" back on recently and there is a difference in road feel and noise level.
With the original wheels, the car feel more nimble,vs more planted with the 17".
That said, I love the looks of the 2-piece. There is a cab here locally with them and it looks awesome, fills the wheel wells nicely.
I think the owner is on this list

Yep, that is the wheel, but.... 30 ;bs??? Holy Crap! Noooooo... don't think that will work for me.... gotta have the nimble dance from the old girl... that is half the fun of driving her! Maybe I will look at 17's in the "Cup 4" five spoke style.... I think they are lighter, and only $159 each at Tire Rack.... don't really need 18's in any case...
