16" wheels, all fronts
#1

Ok, so a few months ago I put 17" Boxster S2 wheels on my car, and took of the stock 16" rims. I would simply list them on ebay, or on here for a couple hundred, but here's the catch...they are all fronts. I know the car was owned by a Porsche dealer for 6 years after the original owner couldn't afford the pinion bearing fix, so maybe something funky happened during this time. The car is from Minnesota, so maybe they did it to make it better in the snow. Either way, I would either need to sell them as two separate front sets, as singles, or to someone who would use them on a VW or something where they would want them to all be the same offset.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

Cheers
Phil

Best bet might be VW owner. Too bad, because 4 16x8 wheels would sell in a heartbeat.

List them individually and maybe give a price break for buying a pair. I've got an odd number of rears lying around as I tend to grab individual rims when I see them...they're usually cheaper that way.

Do you think I'd have better luck selling them on here or on ebay?

Try both................nothing to lose.

I've had a lot of luck with craigslist - both buying and selling. And wheels (especially without tires) are not to expensive to ship (maybe $75 to $120) in the US so the CL search engines will pick you up from the LA listing. Good luck!
