Windshield - 1992 Porsche 968 Cabriolet
#1

I wanted to replace the windshield and when I told my trusty Speedy Glass outlet the year, make and model of the car, they informed me it was going to be very expensive. I understand the part number for the 1991 Porsche 944 is the same and would fit. Can anyone help me to confirm that?

If you do a search in the forum there are discussions about this. I believe the 944 coupe windshield is exactly the same but the antenna is not available in the glass anymore. Ah, but you have a cab so yours is different that the coupe me thinks - shorter glass?

yeah, do a search. I just replaced my coupe windshield not too long ago and remember posting on a thread about it that contained part numbers. Wasn't horribly expensive, $325 plus install. Uses 944 windshield and i believe coupe and cab are the same. 944 windshields have antennae in them, no way around this unless you can find a used 968 one.

I think the glass for the cab is slightly shorter than the glass for a coupe. Might want to double check on this before you buy it.

The 91 944 cab glass will be the same.

correct - cab glass is 60mm shorter than that for a hardtop
