#21

they aren't stamped - they are on a sticker

pics would tell me if they are different lever lengths, mounting designs, etc

OK; I didn't see a sticker, but I'll look again. And I'll snap some pictures. Thanks.

Here are some pictures of my sway bars. I only raised the front end of the car, so it was much easier to take pictures of the front bar. Let me know if this helps identify the type of bars I have:

yup - looks like the M030 30mm front and a 20 or even 21 rear

when do you get a battery?

looks like 951 Cup bars to me. very rare, worth some coin, and the biggest oem way bars they made for our cars.

Thanks for the input, guys. I keep forgetting about that darn battery. On my way to the store to get one now; I'll post the measurements in a couple of hours or so.

Well, I think I've solved the mystery. It looks like I have plain ol' M030 bars, as the previous owner said. With my electronic caliper working with its new battery, the front sway bar measures just a touch over 30 mm, and the rear comes in at 19 mm. Amazing how far off I was using the caliper with its non-functioning display and a ruler.

Is there anything about the appearance of the bars that would indicate they're anything other than M030's? Thanks.

nope - the rear looked bigger, but it could just have been the angle - i was wondering, as i saw the mounting blocks and wondered how they got a larger bar in those, as they are set for 19mm

the good news is that you have a known commodity and can more easily gather information to tune the setup than if you had something less common

With my front bar off the car, I was able to make a more accurate measurement with my calipers - it's 30.5 mm. Just to confirm, is this the diameter of the M030 front bar? I'll be tearing into my rear suspension soon to install the spherical bushings, so I'll try to get a more accurate measurement of it as well.
