whats a 2001 911 worth
#1

I have a friend who has a Coupe 2001, Electric Sunroof. 911 silver with Grey leather. It has tires with about 3500 miles on it, new battery 1-2 year old. It has the Power Stabilization Management system. Vehicle only has 23,000 miles on it. All service done at Sunset Porsche in Portland Oregon. Original Oregon Owner. She has all the service records. Has always been owned and driven in Oregon. NO Salt on the roads, unlike Washington State and surrounding states. This a garaged Porsche, kept in the garage even if it is raining. Very Clean. Every year a low mileage service has been done by Sunset, (all fluids changed and looked over).

So What Is it Worth. Any ideas????????????

Maybe 25k, or 30k if he is willing to sit on it.

Coupe or Cab? A coupe I think its closer to the $25k, looking at the Excellence buyers guide for a coupe is low $19.3k high $25.9k. A cab is +$3-4k. Having good records helps. I think it also depends on location, so these could be low, see what in the market that would be competitors.

Also some people will ask if it had the IMS upgraded or not, a known problem with the first generation 3.6 water cooled engines.

Value is also a bit dodgy with these cars due to the massive amount of 996's produced. Their value is lower than a 993 in most cases even though they are newer. For me they fail in the looks department, now where did my hips go, my pants keep falling off <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

High teens with high miles. Low 20's with low miles.
