I am struggling to find it, but as I recall it was the H4. I believe it also has an "900X" designation, but need someone to confirm.
I have converted all my cars to the Sylvania Silverstar or Silverstar Ultra bulbs. No-brainer, easy upgrade, seems to be the best halogen bulb out there without going down the "exotic" lighting path.
The bulb in the car should have an "H" or "900X" marking on it? I've seen 9003/H4 designations and some confusion over 95 vs. all other years.
the sylvania silverstars really aren't that great of a bulb. They're severly lack in bulb life(the ultras are an improvement here). The biggest issue, however, is the blue coating on the bulb. This blue coating is used to create the white, higher color temp appearance. Unfortunately, it does this by filtering out lower k wavelenghts.
Long story short, it sacrafices total lumen output for that color.
If you want a good bulb, try to find some osram silverstars. Same idea, but they don't have the blue filter on the bulb, so overall light output is much better.
