Just a quick note that I tried "View New Posts" today and it was all blank. I was saved by the bottom link to Active Content.

Another bug, I got this trying to log out

[#2012] The link you followed to logout appears to be badly formed. Please go back and click the link again.

Also tried to edit my last post in this threat and it said I don't have permission to edit my own post.

try it with a different browser and see if it acts differently - i know that there are issues with IE8

editing is limited in time since post - you only have a fixed amount of time to edit - at your level, i think it's 48 hours (it's less at lower levels) - this is to preserve the database

I tried to edit my post within a few minutes when I received that message. I was in Firefox at the time.

there is no reason you shouldn't be able to edit within that time frame

we may have to do this over the phone, though today is probably not going to work for me - i'll send you an email later and we can see what is going on

Don't worry about the call, I'm just letting you know odd things exist in the new release. Next time I edited a post it worked fine.

Edit: But thanks for the offer.

PS Edit worked fine this time, obviously.

weird - i'd like to see if we can do some tests to determine wherein the problem lies - it seems intermittent, and i'm not sure it has anything to do with the site, but i'd sure like to figure it out

there is now another update to the software, that corrects some issues, and perhaps it addresses these issues - i'll read up more about it though and find out

All this new technology is baffling, I'm just getting the hang of my etch-a sketch!

Is there a way to mark posts to be deleted?

For now I just read them and select "view new posts".
