Bet you didn't know 968 values went up 50% overnight
#1

When scouting Autotrader last night I came upon a 93 with 71k miles for $14,488 at Tom Wood Nissan in Indianapolis. I emailed asking for option codes and get a reply telling me they will have pictures shortly.

I go back to autotrader and find this pictues of the car with "Okemos" on the pictures. The VIN at Tom Wood is WP0AA2969PS820595. Here is the Autotrader link: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=u...mp;cardist=1000

I know I saw that car and a member here even said he would check it out.

Soooo, i go to cars.com and find this:

WP0AA2969PS820595 with 71k miles is for sale by Okemos for 9,980. Here is the cars.com link:

Proof that the cars went up in value about 50% overnight, and proof that it pays to shop around go get a good deal. YMMV.

Something doesn't seem quite right there, a Nissan dealer in Indiana is selling the same 968 as Okemos in Michigan, and they are using the same photos as the Michigan dealer with there phone number.

It went back down in price, bought this car on Friday from Tom Wood. One owner car, well maintained. Color is a teal blue / green, what is the correct name for this color?

Amazon Green is the color. I saw that ad several times and thought it looked like a great car. Congrats!

hope my post helped you negotiate. If I wasnt bent on a manual my cousin that lives in lansing would have checed it out for me before tom wood got his grimy mitts on it. If the one in seattle had LSD i would be on that one as well.

Enjoy, and congrats.
