I'm thinking about putting a Ford Pinto body on my 968...would that win?

It needs an Impreza WRX spoiler and neon lighting underneath. Girls just love that!

I threw up in my mouth a bit when I looked at it. I just can't for the life of me figure out why someone would spend money to do THAT...

Nothing new. Lead character Travis Magee drove a 1930's Rolls pickup conversion named "Miss Agnes" in the wonderful novels written by John D. MacDonald.

Jay Kay ( Jamiroquai band's lead ) is selling his one of a kind Ferrari, pictured below. If anyone pays a dime for this eyesore I hope it's purely to dismantle it and use or sell the parts.

Now now. Occasionally as a kid I borrowed my Mom's Kingswood Estate station wagon and used it as a pussy mobile. Sometimes those back areas can be put to good use!

That thing would be perfect of it had faux wood side trim.

I'm not sure why I continue to look at this thread.  It just leaves me confused.  Putting a 968 next to that "Ferrari" would raise the value of the 968 by 50% on the spot...Of course a Ford Pinto or AMC Gremlin would look great next to the Estate Ferrari...

Different Strokes for different folks, I guess.

Somehow I can come to terms with these weird cars if they were built in the 70s ( the era known as " what were you thinking ?! " when it came to cars , clothing , furniture, music ..or, actually pretty much everything , lol ) but to make bizarre looking cars nowadays seems odd.. Is there a practical purpose to the above Renault's severely indented hatchback, or is it the French car maker's attempt at building a vehicle in honor of the aesthetic of ..Georges Pompidou center ?
