Turn signal return spring
#1

Is the spring that returns the turn signal lever to off after making the turn accessible without replacing the entire column switch assembly?

Sorry, guess my description of the problem was poor. When completing a turn, the turn signal lever does not return to off position when the steering wheel returns to center. I the old days this was related to a spring associated with the signal switch on the steering column. Not sure what's inside the Porsche steering column switch and was hoping someone had resolved this problem. Please let me know if you have.

I'll remove the switch assembly and give it a shot and report what I find, but would really hate to buy a new column switch assembly at about $300.

Thanks

Hi P38Light,

Sorry you didnt get a response after a couple days, that can be frustrating.

Perhaps not many owners have addressed this issue.

Look forward to hearing what you find as a solution though.

Same thing happened to my car. A plastic piece is broke inside the signal lever so a new/used one is in order.....one of the days!!
