Can the trunk hinge be rebuilt? Mine is wearing down ( rollers) and starting to stick or catching on the edge of the trunk were the top and trunk meet? If they need to replaced were can i get some? Thanks

I had to replace mine about 2 years ago. It looks like a very straight-forward mechanism, but I couldn't get it to lift up the lid correctly on one side. Ended up order from Porsche. Somewhere around $100-$150 if I remember correctly. The replacement was pretty easy, but had to obtain a small can of spray paint and apply it prior to installation.
