Now that you ask...Yes. I thought it was unusually quiet over there.

It's been coming and going for a few days. Oddly, this site has as well, at least in my experience.

I went through a period a couple of days ago where pages stopped loading as I navigated through the site. I wish I had kept track of any error messages, but I'm afraid I didn't.

It has happenned to me as well but I just check back later in the day and it was usually back up. Sometimes it was backup within a few minutes, like a server or router rebooted.

^ In reference to this forum. Yeah 968.net still has some issues.

it does seem to oddly resurrect itself - not sure how that happens though without intervention, and if there is intervention, why not maintain it? oh well - that's a whole different dead horse discussion

it looks like it went down at midnight on friday - might have been some automatic trigger

I have not been able to get it to work, either.

Hope it's just temporary.

John you might want to start a separate thread in the general forum Q&A for the stuff related to 968forums.com

I haven't looked to see if a separate thread got started, but in trying to get to the Discussions section on 968.net, I just got this error message:

Provider error '80004005'

Unspecified error

Yeah, Anchorman, we're all getting those kinds of messages I'm pretty sure. My post (the one with the code) a couple posts above yours was a followup to something I'd pointed out earlier in this thread, about this site we're on now: that I'd been having trouble loading from time to time. I wanted Eric to see the error messages I'd referred to.

Mark: I hear you but I was following up on a subject already underway in this thread.

as for this site, i get the occasional momentary database glitch or server error, but it never lasts for more than a few minutes - never down for days on end - a couple of times, eric has had to step in and fix something, but usually this system fixes itself
