The recent financial crises has meant a sharp decline in prices of Boxters and 996s. Our generation of cars are getting old. Some of these days we'll se stripped water cooled cars in some numbers as track day toys but how about the oilstarvation problems with the engines? It seems it is happening even with very new cars with reports of Porsche having spies checking which drivers are using R tyres in order to void warranties. How they can do this and keep their face as a sports cars manufacturer is beyond my understanding...
I have heard of modified oilreservoirs (correct English terminology) but are there anyone who has actually solved the problems with these engines? Backed up by racing for example?
