Took the 968 for a drive ..finally !
#1

After many, many, many months of gathering cobwebs in the garage, I finally took it out for a spin this weekend .  Only for about 30-40 minutes, but it was so enjoyable to see this car run flawlessly; one would expect some issues after being parked for so long , but I put it trough its paces with a very spirited drive, pushed its handling / turning limits on a nearby long and twisty road, some aggressive breaking as well to test the brakes, full-out acceleration on highway onramps to triple digit speeds, and, as noted above - simply flawless !    Have to remind myself to do this more often .

Same here , the car is collecting dust way to many days , took is out for a 3 day trip , thru winding roads in Luxembourg , and made a promise to do it more often , planned another trip end this year .

It can be done !!!

While certainly not as impressive as the above posts, I took my 968 out of its current storage site and washed it. The car was perfectly detailed before it went in after the fire and now has that crisp look back. Sadly it must stay there until my saga is resolved. It will also necessitate driving across part of a neighbors lawn to get it onto the street. Yes I know about race ramps but they don’t work on the slope of the driveway onto the street. The only good news is that I’ve put next to no mileage on the car for 17 months.
