Just to share with everyone who may be considering winter all season tires. Just purchased Yokohama's new AVID W4S from the Tire Rack (Shipped to Canada, real easy and cost effective), fronts are 225 45 17, rears are 255 40 17. They are w speed rated and handle very well, crisp cornering, really stable in the turn, and tend to smooth out some of the harshness when just cruising, and they look good. Also, very quiet, really surprised me. I haven't had them in the snow yet but understand they will be pretty good, but I'm actually considering keeping them on year round at this point and selling my almost new ES100s I had put on this summer, and I have been a fan of the handling qualities of the ES100. That my 2 cents.

Thanks for sharing Phil, we can never get enough information on tires and they sure do change quickly from season to season. good luck, Bob Blackwell.
