I'm rebuilding a 92 coupe and it is time for me to tackle the transmission. As far I can tell, It is leaking oil from the top part. It is very dirty and as such not so easy to locate the exact place. I'm planning to clean the whole thing this weekend and install a new pan gasket and filter. I was wondering if there is anything else I should be doing while down there. I'm redoing the rear suspension as well if it help you to direct me to other areas I should look at.
In time...the transfer case is dry and there is no oil anywhere around it.
