When I start the car the bell or warning dinging sound is very low like it is going to quit any time. Does any one know what would cause this? It is also much slower then my other 968's which makes me worry some thing is about to konk out. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

I had this problem when the battery voltage was really low in my car. Maybe it's time for a new battery?

Mine sounds weak and distorted, just started recently. Battery is strong, and i keep on a battery tender. Can we just disconnect it entirely? I will do a search nowmas well.

Ha, now I have to test and see what mine sounds like..I have never heard it because I " automatically" put on the seatbelt before I start the car and never unbuckle it until I turn the engine off so I have not heard the sound of it..
