I think SUVs are built with long lasting robust brakes.
I just had our Acura MDX brake pads replaced at about 90K miles. They probably had another 10K miles left but a rotor was pulsing and they also needed to be bled so I went ahead and had them change the pads at the same time.
Probably more than half of the mileage being city driving.
My folks just had their Lexus RX brakes replaced at about 150K miles. Mostly highway driving for them.

57,000 miles on the A4 so far, will need new rotors and pads next year, they are the originals
